The object of the Club is to provide the facilities, training, and opportunities, for people to play bowls on a regular basis both in friendly and competitive games, and for people to actively participate in the organisation and running of the Club. Membership is open to people residing in the parish or the surrounding area. Application should be made to the Hon. Secretary who will issue an application form, and a copy of the constitution. There is no age limit!
Salford Priors Short Mat Bowls Club was founded in 1996 with support from the Memorial Hall Committee, the Parish Council and Pershore Bowling Club. The Club meets on Friday evenings at the Memorial Hall, Salford Priors, from 7.00pm to 9.30pm and members pay an annual subscription and a green fee per night. The Club invites anyone interested to come along to three free trails to find out more about carpet bowls. No experience is need, all equipment is provided, only flat shoes or slippers are required. Tuition is given if required, its hassle free and fun!
