Salford Priors Amateur Theatrical Society was formed in 2003. It provides the opportunity for anyone to participate in local theatre production ranging from sketches to full length plays and variety theatre productions. There is a chance for all to assist with back stage, front of house, set design and construction or, to appear in productions.
Current members are drawn from the parish of Salford Priors and the surrounding area which extends to Stratford on Avon, Clifford Chambers, Honeybourne, Alcester, great Alne and Evesham.
Between March and May, a group of SPATS members visit local residential homes, retirement homes, luncheon clubs and disabled groups to perform a free variety show with sing-a-long songs, short sketches, comedy routines and magic.
